French harpist Anaëlle Tourret shines as one of the foremost soloists of her instrument. In demand by some of Europe’s finest orchestras, such as the Bamberg Symphony Orchestra, the Bayerische Rundfunk Orchestra, the Orchestre de Paris, the Estonian Festival Orchestra, the WDR Symphony Orchestra, the Utopia Orchestra or the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, Anaëlle Tourret shares her time between performances as a soloist, orchestral and chamber musician.

She performs with some of today’s finest instrumentalists and singers, such as Leonidas Kavakos, Joshua Bell, Pinchas Zukerman, Emmanuel Pahud, Daniil Trifonov, Matthias Goerne, and Nina Stemme, under the artistic leadership of today’s most sought-after conductors, such as Klaus Mäkelä, Jakub Hrůša, Teodor Currentzis, Semyon Bychkov, and Paavo Järvi.

She also appears in major festivals and venues such as the Gstaad New Year Music Festival, the Schleswig Holstein Musik Festival, the Lucerne International Music Festival, the Suntory Hall in Tokyo, the Accademia Nazionale di Santa Cecilia in Roma, the Wiener Konzerthaus, and the Berlin Philharmonie.

Her solo album "Perspectives" (on the Es-Dur label, November 2021) marked a brilliant debut and received unanimous praise from the international press (BBC, Classica, Concerti, BR, NDR, WDR, Musica, Südwestpresse, FonoForum). The follow-up album, "Perspectives Concertantes," released in February 2025, juxtaposes masterpieces of the harp concerto repertoire and is the first harp recording ever made in Hamburg's prestigious Elbphilharmonie.

From a young age, Anaëlle Tourret has been a beacon of talent, amassing an impressive array of prizes at international harp competitions. In 2015, she clinched four awards at the 19th International Harp Competition in Israel. In 2019, the Berenberg Group honored her with the prestigious Berenberg Culture Prize for her exceptional contributions to the arts. At just 25 years old, she ascended to the esteemed position of Principal Harpist of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra in Hamburg, Germany.

Born in Orléans, France, Anaëlle Tourret honed her craft under the tutelage of masters like Ghislaine Petit-Volta and Xavier de Maistre. Today, she imparts her wisdom as an assistant to Xavier de Maistre at the Hochschule für Musik und Theater in Hamburg, nurturing the next generation of harp virtuosos and being a devoted and active mentor of the NDR Elbphilharmonie Orchestra Academy.
