Scott Yoo Conducts Bartók at the Liszt Academy – with PBS Cameras Rolling

On 2 October 2026 Scott Yoo conducted the MÁV Symphony Orchestra’s World Music Day concert in the Great Hall of the Liszt Academy in Budapest: Liszt’s Les Préludes, Bartók’s Third Piano Concerto with Zoltán Fejérvári as soloist, and Bartók’s Concerto for Orchestra.

PBS filmed the evening for Now Hear This, the series Scott Yoo hosts about the stories behind the music – for an episode on Bartók and Budapest.

“His enthusiasm is contagious,” Classical Voice North America wrote of him – the musicians of the MÁV Symphony Orchestra evidently agree.
