Anna Werle has signed with Felsner Artists for international representation. The rapidly rising German mezzo-soprano has made headlines as Wagner's Brangäne und Fricka, the repertoire of rapidly rising German mezzo-soprano Anna Werle still ranges from Baroque through Bellini to Strauss, Verdi and Wagner as well as to modern operas from Henze and Benjamin. In 2025, she will have her debut at Arena di Verona as Fenena in Verdi’s Nabucco.

In 2007, Yevgeny Sudbin released an album of music by Alexander Scriabin. British magazine Gramophone described it as a 'disc in a million'. Now, Yevgeny Sudbin has returned to the composer for his 25th recording for BIS, and offers a wide-ranging survey of music that includes two more of the piano sonatas.

Sergei Babayan played both Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G and his Concerto for Left Hand, in a single concert programme with the Milan Symphony Orchestra under the baton of its music director Emmanuel Tjeknavorian. The response was enthusiastic.

On 4 April 2025, French oboist Céline Moinet will release her fourth album on the Berlin Classics label. On this album, Moinet presents an exquisite collection of chamber music works by the Salzburg masters Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart and Luigi Gatti. She is accompanied by her long-time musical collaborators Mahamed Hiber (violin), Sindy Mohamed (viola), and Tim Park (cello). Together, they open up a fascinating sound world for the listeners, featuring both well-known and lesser-known works by these two composers.

Ms Moinet is regarded as one of the finest oboists of her generation, making her highly in demand as a soloist, chamber musician and recitalist. She brings an extraordinary variety of tone colours and timbres to the art of oboe playing.

Conductor Felix Krieger did it again: Rave reviews keep coming in for his latest recording, Ermanno Wolf-Ferrari’s one-act opera “Il segreto di Susanna” (Oehms Classic). The latest success underlined the extraordinary prestige that Felix Krieger built with his Berliner Operngruppe, an independent orchestra & chorus dedicated to bringing rare opera treasures on stage. In a programme entitled “Two Masters Out Of Their Time”, Alexander Briger conducted the Orchestre de l’Opéra de Tours in the French Loire region, in a series of performances that turned out to be a highlight of the season, with Brahms’ Symphony No. 2 and Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, with Sergei Babayan as soloist. The legendary piano master and Deutsche Grammophon exclusive artist spends himself an important part of every year in Tours, and the debut with ‘his’ home orchestra has been a triumph.
